Crews from Walton County Fire Rescue, Monroe Fire Department, Walton EMC and Walton County Sheriff’s Office responded to a fire on Highway 11 at about 9 p.m. on Wednesday evening.

According to Capt. Jeff Allen with Walton County Fire Rescue, the fire was at a mechanic’s chop behind Just for Fun in the Monroe area of Walton County. Allen said the building was a total loss and the fire is still under investigation. No injuries were reported during the incident.
