Monroe PD Reports: Police called in on several disputes, damage to property, juvenile complaints

Monroe Police Department responded to the following calls between  June 26 – 30, 2016. This report is split into five parts due to the length. This is the final part for this period. Please note an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.

  • Damage to Property, North Board St., Officer checking area of North Board St., observed power pole that had been cut in half from vehicle accident. No calls from the subjects that crashed. Pieces of blue paint were found at the scene. Tire tread appeared to be from a truck. Monroe Utilities called to repair pole. Report taken.
  • Officer’s called to Valero, E. Spring St., flagged down by male subject who asked for a ride to the Courthouse. Gave subject a ride.
  • Dispute- Dorothy Street, complainant stated she was in a dispute over property, referred to the civil process.
  • Burglary report taken at MPD lobby, complainant reporting a break in to his storage units at Walton Security storage on South Broad from the 18th.
  • Wanted person call on Perry Street, Kendrick Muckle arrested for warrants outstanding.
  • Theft report at Golden Pantry, complainant reports an iPhone taken from ATM. While on scene a female subject arrived and returned phone. Female subject also used the ATM and also has an iPhone and picked it up my mistake.
  • Damage to property, Glen Iris Dr., complainant said that a juvenile put a dent in her vehicle. Complainant advised she did not wish to prosecute due to vehicle about to be repossessed. Report declined
  • Shoplifting, South Broad St., Woman arrested for shoplifting, driving while license suspended, and possession of marijuana less one ounce.
  • Domestic problem call on Walton Road, Michael White arrested for FV criminal trespass.
  • W. Spring passenger Richard Wommack out of Greene County. Consent search revealed meth and Xanax. Charged with possession of both controlled substances
  • Civil dispute, Cedar Lane, two couples disputing over property and unpaid bills. Remedies advised, one couple were moving from the residence and parties were separated.
  • Harassment, West Spring St., (City Trends). Ref to male subject on location harassing female. He was served a notice of prohibited entry, and she was advised of the Stalking Protection order.
  • Damage to property, Gatewood Way, reference damage to vacant residence on Gatewood Dr. Already been reported yesterday.
  • Entering Auto, Wheelhouse Lane, Occurred on June 27th in George Walton Homes.  Theft of a prescription by a passenger. Report taken.
  • Suspicious Person, North Midland Ave., In reference to male subject walking in the area with no shoes, no shirt and talking to himself.  Officers were able to make contact with subject’s sister who came from Social Circle to pick him up. All ok.
  • Dispute, Cedar Lane, Dispute over the complainant not wanting to move her vehicle.  Situation mediated and report taken. All ok.
  • Dispute, Baron Dr., In reference to subject not cooking dinner for complainant. Situation mediated. All ok.
  • Discharge Firearm, Norris St., In reference to complainant hearing gun shots.  Officers discovered neighbors were shooting off fireworks. All ok.
  • Juvenile Complaint, S Broad St., juvenile was cursing at her grandmother for making her come home. Situation mediated. All ok.
  • Loud Music Complaint, E Church St., Loud music located on Davis St.  Advised resident of noise ordinance. All ok.
  • Juvenile Complaint, Carver Place, In reference to several kids by her house.  Children were having a water balloon fight. All ok.
  • Dispute, S Madison Ave., In reference to mother having verbal altercation with her son over the use of her car. Situation mediated. All ok.
  • Arrestee Pick Up at Morgan County Jail, Transfer of custody of Augustas Curry due to an active warrant out of the city of Monroe.
  • Loud Noise Complaint, Ridge Rd., In reference to a group of males loitering in the breezeway along with the parking lot.  Males walked into apartment and refused to open the door when we knocked. Extra patrols were requested by complainant. All ok.
  • Loud Noise Complaint, Magnolia Terrace, In reference to kids banging on the wall. Contact was made with neighbor who stated her 1-year-old child keeps doing and she will try to keep her away from the wall. All ok.
  • Entering Auto, Spruce Lane, three black males fled on foot when the complainant walked outside. $100.00 cash taken from vehicle. 2nd complainant had an Amazon Fire tablet and Keltec handgun taken from Spruce Ln. Located a book bag on the ground that had the tablet and two handguns (Keltec and Taurus). Also located an iPhone 6plus on the ground. Keltec and tablet returned to owner. Book bag, Taurus 9mm, and cell phone placed into evidence. While canvassing the area we located 3 bikes at the front of the subdivision in the tree line. Located juvenile on McDaniel St. Transported juvenile to PD to be interviewed by officer. He admitted that he was riding one of the bikes.
  • Wanted Person Located, S Broad St., Amanda Williamson arrested for Monroe Bench Warrant. Picked up at Black Ink/Hwy 138.
