A 22-year-old Monroe man was arrested and charged with driving under the influence Wednesday morning after running into a home on E. Church Street. Three female passengers in the car with him were transported to the hospital and treated for minor injuries.
Ryan Lashodd Clark, 22, of Monroe, remains in Walton County Detention Center on more than $7,000 bond after he ran the stop sign at the intersection of Hammond Drive and E. Church Street in his 2010 Ford Mustang and ran into a home.
According to the incident report from Monroe Police Department, Clark told police that he came around the corner on South Hammond Drive and ran into the house. The vehicle ran into the dining room of the house at 932 East Church Street, which had nobody in it at the time. There were no injuries reported from that location.
