Georgia Bureau of Investigations reported the arrest of 18 Georgia men in a child pornography sting operation, including a Walton County Sheriff’s Deputy and a 23-year-old Monroe man. According to WSBTV, all those arrested were charged under the Computer Pornography and Child Exploitation Prevention Act of 2007.
According to jail records, Uriah David McCullers, 37, of Bethlehem, a Walton County Sheriff’s Deputy, was arrested in Barrow County of Oct. 8, 2015 and charged with three counts of child exploitation. He was released on $30,000 bond the following day. Colby Harrison Waldroup, 23, of Monroe was arrested on Oct. 14 and he remains in Walton County Detention Center charged with one count of child exploitation and possession of marijuana. A 29-year-old unemployed, disabled man from Covington, Jaco Armani Griggs, also was on the list released by the GBI.
The investigation is ongoing and more arrests are expected, according to the GBI.
