Georgia Department of Public Safety report that two occupants of a Walton County School bus received minor injuries Monday when the bus was rear ended in Oconee County.
According to GDPS, the accident happened at about 7:45 a.m. when the bus was stopped in traffic on GA 10 near the intersection of Lenru Road. A Ford Fusion, driven by Lisa Glam, 58, of Covington, stopped behind the bus. For an unknown reason, Glam accelerated, hitting the rear of the bus with the front of her vehicle. Two occupants of the bus, a 13-year-old student and a 54-year-old bus monitor, were transported to Piedmont-Athens Regional complaining of minor injuries. Glam was issued a warning for Following Too Closely.
