The Walton County Sheriff’s Office reported the following Community Alerts for the period Oct. 26 – 27, 2015. Please note an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.

Zone 1
Shoplifting– A business in the area of Highway 138 store clerk reported a subject attempted to take items from the business. Items returned prior to leaving Shelby Hampton was issued a trespass warning.
Vehicle Accident– Deputies responded to an accident in the area of Highway 138 and Youth Jersey Road. No injuries. Georgia State Patrol handled the scene of the accident.
Safety Check – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Ashland Farm Road and Cannon Farm Road. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance.
Arrest in Reference to Safety Check:
- William Hayes was arrested for an outstanding Failure to Appear warrant out of Walton County.

Vehicle Accident– Deputies responded to an accident in the area of Blasingame Road and Gene Bell Road. No life threatening injuries. Georgia State Patrol handled the scene of the accident.
Vehicle Accident– Deputies responded to an accident in the area of Pannell Road and Brush Creek Drive. No life threatening injuries. Georgia State Patrol handled the scene of the accident.
Vehicle Accident– Deputies responded to an accident in the area of Good Hope Road and Unisia Drive. No life threatening injuries. Georgia State Patrol handled the scene of the accident.
Vehicle Accident– Deputies responded to an accident in the area of Snows Mill Road and Powers Road. No life threatening injuries. Walton County Sheriff’s Office handled the scene of the accident.
Arrest– NeAshley Dukes was arrested at a residence in the area of Crystal Bend in reference to two outstanding Theft by Deception warrants out of Walton County.

Safety Check – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Highway 11 and Nicholsville Road. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance.

- James Johnson was arrested for an outstanding Failure to Appear warrant out of Barrow County.
Zone 5
Vehicle Accident– Deputies responded to an accident in the area of Bold Springs Road. No life threatening injuries. Georgia State Patrol handled the scene of the accident.
Vehicle Accident– Deputies responded to an accident in the area of Bold Springs Road and Mountain Creek Church Road. No life threatening injuries. Georgia State Patrol handled the scene of the accident.
Illegal Hunting/Theft– In the area of Bold Springs Road land owner reported an unknown subject in the area hunting on their land items reported to have been taken from the property.
Vehicle Accident– Deputies responded to an accident in the area of Thompson Mill Road. No life threatening injuries. Georgia State Patrol handled the scene of the accident.
Vehicle Accident– Deputies responded to a vehicle accident in the area of Highway 78. Unknown injuries. Georgia State Patrol handled the scene of the accident.
Vehicle Accident– Deputies responded to an accident in the area of Highway 11 and Westmoreland Drive. Unknown injuries. Georgia State Patrol handled the scene of the accident.
Theft– A business in the area of Highway 78 complainant reported items stolen from the location.
Fraud– A residence in the area of Tipperary Circle complainant reported an unknown person used their credit card without authorization.
Zone 6
Vehicle Accident– Deputies responded to an accident involving a deer in the area of Highway 81, no injuries. Walton County Sheriff’s Office handled the scene of the accident.
Vehicle Accident– Deputies responded to an accident in the area of Highway 78 and Youth Monroe Road. Unknown injuries. Georgia State Patrol handled the scene of the accident.
Fraud– A residence in the area of Gum Creek Church Road complainant reported an unknown person called their residence claiming to be with the United State Embassy requesting money.

- Brandon Weaver received a citation for Driving While License Suspended.
- Rita Mata was cited for Possession of Marijuana Less Than One Once.
Damage to Property– In the area of Thomas Drive motorist struck a mailbox in attempt to not hit deer.

Extra Patrol– Extra patrol was requested in the area of Nunnally Farm Road and Hawthorne Trace in reference to speeding vehicles.
