“It is with very, very heavy hearts that we must tell you that our expanded search has resulted in the discovery of the body of KELSEY CLARK. Please continue to pray for this family and for all of WCSO. Investigation continues but at this time, no foul play is suspected.

Walton County Sheriff’s Office expanded its search to try and find the missing Between teenager Tuesday, taking to the air and on foot in the Between area.
“Our desire to find KELSEY CLARK is very strong. We have committed over a dozen deputies/investigators to this cause. They have worked tirelessly sometimes as long as twenty hours in a day,” WCSO wrote on the Facebook page. “Their work has taken them into several counties. Every lead no matter how small has been pursued. In addition to this, over 300,000 people have read about her on our page. We have heard from people in ten states. In spite of the very commendable efforts on the part of all law enforcement, friends, a caring community and family members, she has not been located. We have exhausted all leads. Therefore, today we are expanding the search for KELSEY. We want to be certain to the best of our ability that she has not harmed herself or become incapable of returning home due to injury.”
WCSO reported it is now searching all of the area near and around her home.
“We have done this twice but today we have a large team of law enforcement, fire, EMS Personnel and the assistance of GSP helicopter. Please be mindful of our efforts. Don’t go into the area unless you absolutely must do so.”
WCSO reported, that an Amber Alert has not been issued as the case does not meet the criteria for one.
