Monroe PD Reports: Woman claims man pulled gun and asked for sexual favors

Monroe Police Department responded to the following calls between April 1 – 7, 2016. This report is split into five parts due to the length. This is the fourth part for this period. Please note an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction

  • Domestic problem call on Ash St., Ref to a male subject not letting a female leave. Made contact with three females and three males who were horsing around in two different vehicles. ID’d and sent on their way.
  • Southeast Corrections, Jasheena Smith arrested for Violation Of Probation.
  • Area check on Oak St., Ref to a suspicious vehicle (Brown truck w/writing on the back) circling the area several times. Area check no contact.
  • Officer called to S. Madison Ave., Subject wanting to speak with an officer about her vehicle being damaged on S. Madison Ave. Complainant advised she struck a pothole on S. Madison and damaged the right front tire on her 2007 Chrysler Sebring.
  • Civil Issue call on S. Broad St., complainant advised that he needed to go speak with female subject about his social security check. He has conditions to stay away from female subject. Escorted him to 5th St. to speak with her. All ok.
  • Shots fired call on Storehouse Ct., checked the area with negative contact. Spoke with several subjects who advised that they heard the shots coming from the woods toward W. Creek Cir.
  • Welfare check on Breedlove Dr/Alcovy – Ref to a white male lying on the ground face down. Made contact with intoxicated male subject who advised that he had just left the hotel on W. Spring St. He requested to go to Clearview Regional Medical Center for help. Escorted to Clearview.
  • Suspicious person call on S. Broad St., Ref to a black male subject carrying toiletries into the bathroom every day. Made contact with male subject who is taking a roll of paper towels and toilet paper into the bathroom and using them without paying for them. He agreed to pay for them and not return.
  • Juvenile complaint call on Hubbard St., Ref to juveniles in the complainant’s yard refusing to leave. Made contact with complainant and the juveniles. Juveniles were told to stay out of complainant’s yard.
  • Dispute call at Tire Depot, Ref to a customer on location not happy with recent tire purchase. Situation mediated.
  • Damage to Property call on Cloverdale Dr., Ref to someone had spray painted the garage.
  • Damage to Property call on Kelton Rd., Ref to someone spray painted “Bitch” on the back of complainant’s RV.
  • Domestic problem call on Tanglewood Dr., Ref to complainant advised that her ex-boyfriend took her silver 2002 Hyundai Santé Fe. He was allowed to drive the vehicle prior to them breaking up. BOLO put out for the overdue vehicle.
  • Loitering call on Plaza Dr., Ref to a vehicle parked with subjects in vehicle in front of unit. Christopher Harden arrested for possession of marijuana and possession of schedule IV (Xanax).  Elizabeth Haynie arrested for possession of marijuana. Vehicle towed by towing company.
  • Suspicious vehicle call on Vehicle Jessica Way; White Chevy Malibu in area, driver wore a red bandana over his face, then left.  Gone on arrival, negative contact.
  • Suspicious Vehicle call on E. Church St., ref. ford Ranger with expired tag driven by male subject, negative contact.
  • Gambling/Loitering call on Sorrell’s St., Group of male subjects shooting dice, gambling.  Subjects identified and cited for possession of marijuana, public drunk.
  • Agency Assist call on S. Broad St. near Valero,  State patrol on traffic stop needing assistance with identifying a passenger who gave false name and had a warrant for Criminal Trespass.
  • Suspicious Vehicle call on Alcovy St., a white Subaru and a black truck racing in the area, area checked negative contact.
  • Domestic problem call on Martin Luther King Blvd Checkers, verbal dispute, parties separated.
  • Domestic problem call on Walton Rd., male subject wanted to speak with his ex-girlfriend’s mother, he refused to leave.  Male subject barred from the property advised not to stalk his ex-girlfriend and not return to the property.
  • Domestic problem call on Ridge Rd., neighbor dispute over loud music, complainant advised to contact landlord.  Incident occurred earlier.
  • Suspicious Vehicle call on Michael Etchison and McDaniel St., vehicle with no taillights, unable to respond before Gone on arrival of police.
  • Juvenile Complaint on S. Broad St., complainant reported someone slashed her tires, groups of familiar subjects in a white passenger car.  Report made.
  • Suspicious Vehicle call on Baker St., Ref. Chevy with bright headlights driving back and forth..
  • LE Assist call on Davis St., two male subject’s intoxicated got into a brief fight earlier, one subject hurt his foot and needed to go to hospital.
  • Suspicious Person call on Tanglewood Lane, complainant advised that a male subject was trying to start problems.
  • Suspicious Vehicle call on Loganville eastbound; comp followed the vehicle, poss. intoxicated.  Vehicle pulled into driveway and unoccupied by the time vehicle found.
  • Domestic problem call on Michael Circle, husband and son in a verbal fight, son left the residence, parties, separated.
  • Aggravated Assault call on W. Marable St., intoxicated female subject advised that a guy she named pulled a pistol on her and requested a sexual favor, but left the scene.  Report made.
  • Suspicious Vehicle call on Felker St., white van driven by male subject looking for subject who slashed his tires.  (see above)
  • Missing Person call on Mill Stone Bluff, 14-year-old male subject returned, all ok.
  • Firearms Discharged call on Sorrell’s St., unknown subject shot a firearm during CID follow-up.  Shakira Mitchell leaving the area, driving without a license was arrested.  Subjects in the area, stopped and identified, no evidence was located
  • Domestic problem call on Clearview Hospital;  Jamie Daniel’s intoxicated being belligerent at the hospital, refused to leave,  was arrested for DOC.
  • Animal injured call on Shamrock Dr., German Shepard stray in the area, resident agreed to keep animal until Animal Control could come out in the morning, not injured, all ok.
  • Suspicious person call on Landers St., three black males in the roadway, were gone on arrival of police.
  • Suspicious vehicle call on Plaza Tr., Ref to a white truck that keeps coming on the property between 1530hrs and 1900hrs. Made contact with property manager and she advised that the white male parks his vehicle then leaves on foot or sometimes gets picked up by another vehicle. Extra patrol requested and if you have contact find out what he is doing and advise him to leave and not come back.
  • Damage to property call on Sorrell’s St., complainant advised that someone had broken a window and damaged the entry doors on her apartment. Report taken.
  • Harassment call on Blaine St., complainant wanting to speak to Ofc.  Ref. to follow up from yesterday. Contacted Ofc. and relayed information.
  • Threats/subject with fire arm call on Tanglewood Dr/Tanglewood Ln., Anonymous complainant advised that he overheard a b/m in a newer model Lincoln vehicle making threats to murder someone when he found them. Negative contact with complainant and suspect
  • Dispute call on W. Spring St., Ref to complainant believes items were stolen from his room. An employee with Radiance Solar believes that a named subject or the housekeeper stole his earrings. Complainant refused PD assistance and refused report.
  • EMS Assist on E. Spring St., Ref to a 76 year-old female subject was not taking her meds and she was not eating. Subject refused to go with EMS but agreed to take her meds and eat.
  • Damage to property call on Pine Park, complainant advised an unknown person damaged his vehicle during the night. It appeared that the vehicle had been keyed with a sharp object.
  • Suspicious vehicle call on W. Spring St., Ref to a green Jeep Cherokee on location since last night. Advised the manager that he could have it towed.
  • Domestic problem call on Turner St., Verbal dispute between mother and her daughter, No crime was committed. Daughter was waiting for her baby daddy to arrive from North Carolina to pick her up.
