The Monroe Police Department is asking for the publics help in identifying suspects in a smash and grab in the early hours of Thursday morning at the Golden Pawn on South Broad Street.
According to a press release from Public Safety Director Keith Glass, police responded to an alarm call at 1312 South Broad at 3:26 a.m. on Oct. 1.
“Upon arrival Officers found a silver Chrysler Voyager minivan that had been driven into the front door of the business. The vehicle was reported stolen out of DeKalb county,” Glass said. “Several firearms were taken from the store.”
Glass said detectives are working leads from evidence collected at the scene and information from witnesses.

MPD is offering a reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the criminals who committed this crime.
