Monroe PD Reports: Back door kicked in, TV’s, X-boxes, even the piggy bank stolen

Monroe Police Department responded to the following calls between May 13 – 19, 2016. This report is split into four parts due to the length. This is the fourth part for this period. Please note an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.

  • Burglary call on E. Tall Oaks Dr., complainant advised the back door was kicked in between 1230 & 1600 hours. 2-flat Screen T.V.’s, 2-X-boxes, several games, a max motor scooter, chips gator aide and little Debbie taken. Two witnesses saw four black males – one carrying a piggy bank which was also taken. Turned over to Criminal Investigation Division. Several small items located in the woods and taken by CID for processing. (Chip bags, gator aide bottle, and tablet)
  • Threats on Tanglewood Lane., Comp advised male subject threatened to murder her, male subject is intoxicated and was Gone On Arrival.  Complainant refused a report.
  • Threats on Davis St., complainant advised a group of juveniles she told to leave her property threatened to shoot up her house, unknown subjects, complainant declined a report.
  • Domestic problem call on Stokes St., complainant said her ex-husband has been calling and texting her telling her he was going to seek custody of their kids due to her current husband being arrested recently on drug charges. Advised all parties of the Civil process.
  • Arrest on South Madison Ave.  Ryan Windsor was arrested for a Probation warrant out of WCSO.
  • Welfare check on Carwood Dr., made contact with three subjects at residence all appeared to be ok.
  • Suspicious juveniles at Taco Bell parking, juveniles on location refusing to leave. Made contact with a group of juveniles eating lunch. They agreed to leave premises, manager stated they were being obnoxious and interfering with daily business.
  • Harassment on MLK JR BLVD ref to male subject violating a Temporary Protection Order by contacted the protected party.  Warrants to be taken for aggravated stalking.
  • Dispute on Manner Place.  Ref to threats made with in a dispute between juveniles.  Situation was mediated.
  • Follow-Up on 6th St. – Ref to male subject on location and had violated a TPO by contacting his daughter by phone. Initial report taken at Applebee’s at 1639hrs.
  • Dispute on Bolton St – complainant advised that her nephew was on location asking about money that was owed to him. Made contact with complainant who stated that her nephew left the area in a black car. Complainant was advised of the TPO process and was advised to call back if he comes back. Complainant advised that nephew is on 38D (drugs).
  • Suspicious vehicle at Walmart – Ref to two vehicles speeding in the parking lot. (SEE NEXT CALL)
  • Dispute on Plaza Dr – A woman confronted another female subject verbally about her affair with the first woman’s husband. She waited outside Walmart until the woman got off work and then followed the woman home and started another altercation in the parking lot. The first woman was pulled over on Breedlove Dr and arrested for disorderly conduct.
  • Suspicious vehicle on Maple St – Ref to a truck in the driveway of a vacant residence. Made contact with a male subject who was sleeping in his truck after having a dispute with his wife in Tanglewood.
  • Burglary call on Knight St., complainant advised that she saw some dirt foot prints on her couch and floor. She advised that nothing was missing but wanted a report.
  • Suspicious person call on Plaza Dr regarding two subjects sitting in a green car at the clubhouse. Made contact with subjects who live in the complex. They were using the WiFi. They advised that they would return to their apartment.
  • Domestic problem call on 6th St – Ref to couple disputing. Male subject voluntarily left for the evening. Incident documented.
  • Assault complaint at Clearview – Ref to a call from a complainant out of Florida. Complainant advised that a 17-year-old female was assaulted by a named male subject earlier this date which resulted in a fractured wrist.
  • Suspicious vehicle call on Landers St – Ref to a cream color truck unoccupied and running. Stopped vehicle on Church/Hammond. Made contact with driver who advised that he was visiting a friend. He has problems with his vehicle and has to leave it running. All OK.
  • Suspicious vehicle call at Jeffcoat’s –Crystal Everette arrested for possession of meth.
  • Follow-Up on Glen Iris Dr –Anthony Towler arrested for aggravated battery.
  • Civil issue, Dean St., Subject on location collecting her child’s clothing, complainant was concerned subject may damage the property. Complainant not on location.
  • Suspicious person, North Madison Ave., Subject on location inspecting HVAC for customer who is interested in buying the property through her real estate agent, Their agent failed to contact the homeowners agent prior to arrival. Situation mediated.
  • Unknown law, Turner St., complainant on location gathering items from residence and has concerns regarding suspicious people in area watching her. Officer remained on location while she gathered her belongings.
  • Juvenile complaint, W. Creek Cir., mother wanted an Officer to speak to her 14-year-old son about staying out at night and sneaking out of the house. Spoke to the juvenile and advised her of parental responsibilities.
  • Animal vicious,  Meadow Ct., USPS delivery worker stated a white pit bull type of K-9 continually tries to attack him and the k-9 belongs on Meadow Ct., negative contact with anyone or any k-9 at that address. Animal Control left a notice for the owners.
  • Subject with warrants, W. Fambrough St. Jody Clay on location and arrested.
  • Speeding vehicle, South Madison Ave., complainant stated there are multiple vehicles that drive fast and reckless and is concerned about his grandchildren’s safety. Requested extra patrol in area.
  • Domestic problem on Barrett St., Mark Hillman arrested for Simple Battery (FV).
  • Sexual Battery @ Amici’s – Ref to three that came into restaurant on last Friday evening. One male subject slapped the waitress on the bottom as she walked by.
  • Stopping suspicious vehicle on Ash St – subject arrested for poss less than oz marijuana.
  • Miscellaneous on 3rd St – Ref to a neighbor that hit and killed a cat while they were driving down the road. Complainant stated they didn’t purposely run the cat over but they were traveling at a high rate of speed. Advised the complainant of the danger in letting pets roam free. Also advised to notify police of any further speed violations by any of the neighbors.
  • Suspicious person call at Walton Truck Stop – Ref to a b/m lying on the ground near the dumpster. Made contact with intoxicated male subject sleeping at the dumpster. Turned Over To EMS.
  • Domestic problem call on Russell Dr – Ref to a male and female disputing in a vehicle. Made contact with the two people. Arrested one subject for underage possession of alcohol and disorderly conduct. Arrested second subject for Driving Under the Influence, Open Container, and Contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
  • Theft call on Glen Iris Dr – Ref to complainant’s phone for sale on FaceBook. Complainant advised that a named male subject has her phone and will not return it.
  • Suspicious person at Tanglewood – Ref to a man in his 50’s walking back and forth near the stop sign acting very suspicious. Made contact with intoxicated subject who was given a escort back to his residence on Towler St.
  • Threats on Walker Dr – Ref to a male subject driving fast through the area. Complainant asked him to slow down and he threatened them with a gun. Complainant did not see a gun. Located subject’s vehicle on 6th St but did not have contact with subject.
  • Domestic problem, Towler St – Ref to complainant advising that subject is on location destroying things. Subject arrested for public intox and disorderly conduct.
  • Firearms discharged, Davis St – Ref to complainant hearing 4 gunshots. She was not aware of the exact location on where the shots were coming from. Area checked with negative contact
  • Stopping suspicious vehicle at Waffle House/W. Spring St – Vehicle backed into officer’s vehicle causing damage to the push bumper. GSP worked the accident.
  • Officer got out with a suspicious vehicle on Hammond Park – Made contact with female subject and Christian Wright. Arrested Christian Wright for poss. of schedule IV (Xanax).
