Winin Georgia & Aubrey’s Warriors Foundation is inviting the community to get out and support local public safety departments in a prayer vigil for Law Enforcement and their families, as well as all local first responders.
“They all need our prayers and support more now than ever before,” Aubrey’s Warriors Foundation wrote on the event page. “We ask that you please come and pray with us and show your support. With all the criticism and heartbreak recently, let’s continue to show them we care and they truly are appreciated.”
The prayer vigil will begin at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 6, 2016, at the Old Courthouse Downtown, Monroe. You are asked to bring along goodies for the public safety members if you would like to show your appreciation that way as well.
Although the location for the vigil is planned at the Old Historic Courthouse, attendees are asked to stay off the lawn as it is still under recovery mode.
