Monroe Police Department responded to the following calls between July 22 – 28, 2016. This report is split into four parts due to the length. This is the final part for this period. Please note an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.
- EMS assist, W. Marable St. in regards to 50-year-old female who almost cut toe off. Walton County Sheriff’s deputies were in area and handled with EMS. All ok, EMS transported to Clearview Regional Medical Center.
- Juvenile complaint, E. Washington St. in regards to juveniles across street trespassing and destroying property.
- Dispute, S. Broad St. (Dollar General) manager asked customer to leave store but customer refused. Customer served with Prohibited Entry form and sent on way. All ok.
- Vehicle Fire at Longhorns Steakhouse; 2015 Ram Truck caught fire, fire put out, incidental damage to property report made.
- Suspicious vehicle, Walton Truck Stop; Made contact with Pepsi truck driver, all ok.
- Suspicious Person, E. Marable St at Bryant Rd; stopped and identified in the area of entering auto, three juveniles.
- Assault, Booth Dr., complainant advised he was pistol whipped by two black males, one possibly being one named subject.
- Suspicious Person, New Lacy St., complainant calling in reference to two subjects with weapons, negative on subjects on location.
- Entering Auto, Ford St., and complainant had his Dodge Ram entered, no items taken, report made.
- Suspicious Vehicle at Monroe Library; Made contact with mother and her daughter. Advised they had permission to use Wi-Fi after hours and thought she was being harassed when asked what they were doing at Library in parking lot.
- Suspicious vehicle Franks Stop; subjects at the Valero, putting clothes in the goodwill bin.
- Warrant pick up, Morgan County, Transport Ervin Sutton to jail on Probation Violation warrant.
- Juvenile Complaint, Walton Rd; Subject given escort to Hillcrest Apts. after verbal argument with her mother.
- Dispute, Wheel House Ln., Civil dispute over recent divorce property. Ex Husbands sister attempting to retrieve property for brother.
- Harassing phone calls, Overlook Crest. IRS scam no money or information sent, just wanted to advise.
- Armed robber report in Lobby of the PD, complainant stated $120 taken by gunpoint by named male subject at Jack Peters. Possible get-a-way driver female subject named in a grey ford explorer. Located female and vehicle at Pine Park.
- Civil Issue, question at lobby of the PD, complainant had questions about eviction process. Referred to Magistrate court.
- Suspicious vehicle, South Bd. and Alcovy, Ref to blond female driver crying while driving blue truck. Vehicle located and moved to Johns Supermarket, All ok.
- Juvenile complaint, East Washington, National Guard Armory. 16-year-old daughter advised she was leaving for good.
- Welfare check, Store House Ct., 22-year-old caller needed to contact female prior to 16:30. Negative contact at residence.
- Dispute, Lacy St., two subjects verbally disputing. Parties Separated.
- Arrest, Ready for pick up S. Madison, Southeast Corrections. Subject arrested for probation warrants.
- Suspicious vehicle, in the area of Alcovy St. Red PT Cruiser on location for several weeks. Several complainants have been told over the past few weeks that the vehicle returned to a business in the same shopping center.
- Suspicious vehicle at Hwy 138/Coggins Rd – Ref to a light green Kia unable to maintain lane. Vehicle turned right on to W. Spring St. Negative contact.
- Suspicious person at S. Broad St/Bait Shop – Ref to elderly female sitting on the white fog line of the road. EMS transported due to female having mental issues.
- Dispute, Towler St., reference two females in a physical altercation. One arrested for Battery for slapping female in the face.
- Suspicious person, Alcovy St., Ref to the security guard hearing a male’s voice in the area. Negative contact with anyone.
- Theft, Towler St., complainant advised she left her wallet outside by the door and her cash was missing. Complainant declined report
- Traffic violation at N. Broad St/Valero – Arrested one subject for no license and a female subject for violation of a TPO.
- Extra Patrol request at Country Grove Apts – Complainant saw two black males walking around the area and one subject on a bicycle. Concerned about the recent entering autos. Negative contact.
- Entering auto, Northview Dr – complainant witnessed three young black males attempting to enter his work truck. All three subjects fled the scene on foot. A search of the area was done which yielded negative results.
- Suspicious person at Jeffcoats – Walton County got out with subject who had a Lawrenceville probation violation warrant. WCSO arrested subject and transported.
- Damage to property at Harris St – complainant advised that someone had just broken her living room window and subjects were near her vehicle.
- Suspicious person at Davis St/Pine Park St – two Juveniles were observed walking on Davis Street matching the description of the entering auto suspects from a previous call. Subjects were identified but gave a false name and date of birth. Both subjects were taken into custody for curfew violation and false name and date of birth. Both juveniles were released to their mother.
- Unknown, GW Carver, Complainant was an elderly female who requested to be transported to Clearview Medical Center. All ok.
- Loud music complaint, Green St. Music turned down, all ok.
- Theft report, Landers St., complainant Dog Kennel taken from backyard overnight.
- Arrest, Ga probation Management, Alcovy St. Female subject arrested for probation.
- Welfare check, Davis St., Sgt. Daughtry requested check on male subject due to being released from duty due to family emergency and he has not reported back. Negative contact with subject. Contact made with his mother who advised she would have him contact his command.
- Welfare Check, West Spring St., McDonalds, reference to male subject feeling weak but denying ambulance. Family friend drove subject back home.
- Damage to property, James Monroe Homes. Rental car had hand print from child. Hand print wiped off.
- Damage to property, Pine Park, complainant noticed his car riding different yesterday and noticed a lug nut missing. Complainant said he came out this morning to find another missing lug nut from a different tire as if someone has been tampering with it. Advised to have mechanic examine vehicle for further.
- Dispute, Felker St., between homeowner and unauthorized tenants, being kicked out of residence. Situation mediated.
- Suspicious person, East Marable St., Anonymous complainant stated group of B/M teenagers on bikes in middle of street, area checked with negative contact.
- Arrest ready for pick up, Alcovy St., Georgia Probation Mgt. Ryan Clark arrest for warrants.
- Domestic problem, area of South Broad and Mill St., called in by 3rd party passerby who observed female jumped out of moving vehicle. Bobby Denny arrested for False Imprisonment (FV) of female (live in girlfriend)
- Threats, W. Spring St – Ref to a fired employee making threats that he is going to “Get them.” Report taken.
- Dispute, E. Spring St., Ref to a black male harassing employees. Subject left in a vehicle. Made contact with Ronnie Smith on Turner St. Ronnie Smith arrested for DUI, DOC and Public Intox.
- Domestic, Pine Park, Ref to male subject on location causing a disturbance. Subject was GOA.
- Fight, GW Carver, Ref to a large crowd in the front yard. Arrested two female juveniles for Affray and DOC. Released subjects to parents.
- Follow-Up, Clearview Regional Medical Center – Made contact with female subject who was discharged on 07/28/2016 @ 0100hrs. Female subject had been sitting in the ER waiting room thinking that someone was going to pick her up. Made contact with GA Crisis Hotline who completed an Adult Protective Services report for me in an attempt to get female subject some help. FISH put female subject up for the night at Haven Inn & Suites. Det Temples and Det Richardson paid for another night (Friday night) for her to stay.
- Suspicious vehicle, Huddle House, Ref to a vehicle driving by very slow; approximately 8 times in the last 5hrs. Made contact with the vehicle in the parking lot and told them to leave.
- Dispute, Gatewood Way, Ref to intoxicated female subject left in a silver Chevy Equinox. Searched the area with no contact.
- Animal complaint, Armistead Cir., Ref to 6-week-old puppy fell in the floor vent. Puppy rescued.
- Damage to Property, Plaza Dr., Complainant advised that subjects in a white passenger car attempted to slash the complainant’s tires. No damage and not sure if the subject was attempting to damage her car. Searched the area with no contact.
- Fight, W. Spring St (Waffle House), employee advised that 4-5 black females started a verbal dispute with her at Walmart and then came to Waffle House where one black female had a knife in her hand and then threw a coffee cup at her. Employee then stated that they left in a blue Toyota Corolla (drive out tag) on Hwy 138 toward Conyers.
