Monroe Police Department responded to the following calls between Sept. 2 – 28, 2016. This report is split into six parts due to the length. This is the third part for this period. Please note an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.
- Suspicious vehicle, Woodland Rd – Ref to a small gray passenger car that slowed down for a male subject to jump in the vehicle then sped toward front of neighborhood. Checked the area with no contact.
- Warrant service at Walmart – Dispute between male and female subjects. Male subject cut both front tires on female’s Ford Explorer. Male subject was GOA with another female. Warrants to be taken on male subject for Criminal Trespass.
- Suspicious person at Monroe Motor Inn – A resident stated two brothers were walking door to door selling drugs. Contact was made and no narcotics were found on either party. All ok.
- Demented person at Colley St – Ref to complainant having problems with her neighbors. Complainant stated that she has ESP and that she thinks that someone is trying to harm her brother with whom she just saw yesterday.
- Loud music at Michael Cir/Amber Tr. – Advised subjects to keep the music down.
- Injured animal @ Wilkins Dr – Deer that was deceased in front of complainant’s residence. Resident wanted to know if he could keep the carcass.
- Disturbing the peace at Alcovy St – Ref to subjects revving the engine to a vehicle on Sherwood Dr. Situation was mediated.
- Domestic at Lacy St – Verbal dispute between male and female subjects. Situation was mediated.
- Welfare check at Dean St – DFACS wanting to check the welfare of a 5-month-old child. Made contact and all was ok.
- Domestic at Baron Dr – Leondric Lattimore arrested for Battery on his girlfriend.
- Follow-Up at Towler St. – Complainant advised male subject on location with a handgun. Male subject was Goa. Brittnee Bekerman was arrested for Party to a crime for previous incident at Wal Mart. Bekermans vehicle was impounded by towing company.
- Suspicious person at McDonald’s – Ref to a male subject in the drive thru shaking and his head bobbing. On arrival, subject was unconscious. Subject possibly overdosed or had a seizure. EMS transported to Clearview.
- Suspicious person at Lacy St – Ref to male subjects blocking the roadway so vehicles could not pass by. No subjects were in the roadway or blocking traffic.
- Harassing phone calls E. Washington St #8 – Civil dispute between two neighbors. Situation mediated.
- Domestic at S. Broad St – complainant advised that subjects on location are abusing a goat and a male subject push a female subject to the ground. Subjects were extremely intoxicated. Goat did not show any signs of abuse and female subject had no marks on her person nor did she have any evidence of being pushed to the ground.
- Shots fired at Davis St/Harris St – Searched the area and it was possibly fireworks.
- Control substance problem at Monroe Motor Inn – Complainant stated occupants in room # given are selling narcotics. Negative contact was made with anyone inside the room.
- Control substance problem at Lacy St., – Complainant stated narcotics being sold out of white Chrysler 300. Searched area negative contact was made with that vehicle.
- Disturbing the peace at Wheelhouse Ln – Advised group of noise ordinance. All ok.
- Rolling Domestic at E. Washington St/S. Broad St – reference to a male and female arguing over the female talking to another male at Night Club. Parties were separated and report taken.
- Disabled vehicle at N. Broad St/Golden Pantry – Vehicle had flat tire. Officers assisted in changing the tire.
- Harassing phone calls at Green St – complainant advised named male subject was sending her text messages stating he hoped someone killed her and he might do it himself. Complainant refused to press charges and merely wanted the incident documented. Report taken.
- Domestic at Lacy St – Ref to subject wanting to retrieve some of her belongings from the residence. All ok. She will remove the rest of her belongings tomorrow.
- Domestic at Pine Park – Ref to a male and female subject yelling outside of the apartments. Female subject advised that someone hit her. Female walked away from officer and refused officer’s help.
- Loud music at E. Church St – Negative contact was made with anyone at the location. No music was heard.
- Prowler at Colley St – subject advised that she heard someone talking earlier. Subject also stated that she was worried about her sister-in-law.
- Subject with a weapon at Pine Park St – Searched area and negative contact was made with anyone with a weapon.
- Theft, Birch St., complainant stated named male subject took approximately 80-90 Oxycodone pills from her prescription while he visited as a guest
