Walton County Fire Rescue reported that a two-vehicle head-on collision closed Highway 81 at Round Ridge Road for about an hour on Tuesday afternoon. The accident happened at about 3:25 p.m.
“A male driver of one of the vehicles was transported to Gwinnett Medical Center by EMS with non-life threatening injuries. The other driver was not injured,” said Battalion Chief Craig League. “The roadway was closed for about 1 hour and is now opened up.”
