Monroe PD Reports: 5 juveniles arrested after slew of entering autos

Monroe PD responded to the following calls between  Oct. 28 – Nov. 3, 2016. This report is split into five parts due to the length. This is the fourth post for this period. Please note an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.

  • Domestic problem in the area of Tanglewood Dr.  Negative contact with anyone familiar with the dispute.
  • Domestic problem, E. Fambrough St.,  daughter upset due to mother not allowing her to leave.  Mother was advised if daughter left to call back and a runaway complaint would be filed.
  • Juvenile complaint, Towler St., mother advised her daughter left without permission.  Juvenile complaint to be filed.
  • Domestic problem, Hillcrest Village, two subjects disputing.  Parties separated.
  • Suspicious person, Bait Shop, S. Broad St., male subject sent on his way.
  • Firearms Discharged, Nowell St., two shots fired in the area, negative contact with the subject.
  • Assault, Great Oaks/Clearview, Victim advised that a 92 year old was assaulted by another resident who has mental issues.
  • Suspicious Person, Glen Iris Dr.,  Black male on a bike following 3 females, male subject last name given and advised to head home, all ok.
  • Domestic problem, E. Marable St. at Hot Spot, subject assaulted the complainant then walked off.  Report made.
  • 911 Hang-up, Carver Place, Med call reference female having chest pain, she advised she would be fine after taking her medication.
  • Domestic problem, Towler St., father came to complainant and dropped off their children and she did not want the father to come to her house, the father was gone when police, all ok.
  • Damage to Property, Unisia Dr., Comp advised someone threw a rock over the bridge damaging their vehicle, report made.
  • Damage to Property, Walton Truck Stop, rock thrown from the bridge, damaging the vehicle. Report taken.  Bridges checked for subjects, negative contact.
  • Subject with Firearm, Susie’s Wings, black male with large afro seen with a firearm, negative contact with described subject after area check.
  • Suspicious Noises, Custom Way, Complainant advised hearing noises near the vacant house, all ok.
  • Entering Auto, Hannah Lane, three locations on Heritage Ridge, five juveniles were entering autos in the area, found a firearm in their possession and some stolen property.  All but one were found and arrested.  Juvenile intake failed to house two of the juvenile’s.  Multiple reports taken.
  • Damage to Property, Magnolia Terrace, Yukon tires slashed, report made.
  • Suspicious Person, S. Broad St. near Southside; intoxicated subject dressed as pirate walking in area, negative contact.
  • Entering Auto, Wellington Dr., see above entering auto
  • Fight call, GW Carver Dr., multiple subjects in fight, negative contact.
  • Entering Auto, Heritage Ridge Dr., ongoing case from above
  • Entering Auto, Spruce Ln., No items taken.  Officer located an open door on vehicle.
  • Entering Auto, Hannah Ln.  Samsung Tablet and Galaxy Prime cellphone taken.
  • Entering Auto, Wellington Dr.  No items taken. Report declined.  Officer located open door.
  • Entering Auto, Overlook Trl.  No items taken. Report declined.
  • Entering Auto, Wellington Dr., negative contact with anyone.  Glove box was found open.
  • Entering Auto, Michael Cir.  No items Taken.  Report declined.
  • Suspicious person, S. Broad St., Subjects with flashlights in Custom Wood and interior.
  • Entering Auto, Thompson Ridge Dr., Negative Contact.  Glove box open.
  • Entering Auto, Michael Cir., negative contact.  Window open on passenger side of vehicle with items moved about inside vehicle.
  • Domestic problem, Sorrell St., reference to wife keying husband’s vehicle last date. Wife was not on location for questioning. Husband advised of warrant process.
  • Juvenile complaint, Plaza Dr. and Mayfield Dr.  Reference to juvenile having a pocket knife on the school bus.  Knife was returned to mother on Ridge Rd.
  • Damage to property, Plaza Trace, Back glass of 1999 Honda broken out.
  • DTP, Plaza Dr., complainant advised that the back window of her Mazda was busted out during the night.
  • Area check, Custom Way, complainant advised he could hear a female screaming in the area.  Negative contact with anyone screaming.
  • Entering Auto, Heritage Ridge Dr., both vehicles entered.  No items taken.  Declined report.
  • Entering Auto, Heritage Ridge Dr., and complainant had a Black S&W Black Ops 4” knife taken from vehicle.
  • Suspicious vehicle, Spring St. laundry.  Reference to female in restroom.  Female subject was sent on her way
  • DTP, Peters St., Dodge Caliber was parked in the roadway and sideswiped sometime during the night.
  • Wanted person, Towler St., Robert Mayweather on location.  Subject arrested.
  • Dispute, AT&T.  Subjects GOA in a Silver Dodge Durango.  All ok.
  • Suspicious vehicle, in the area of Charlotte Rowell. Nissan Versa unable to maintain lane.  Area checked with negative contact.
  • Domestic problem, Georgia Ave., two subjects disputing. Situation mediated. Parties separated. All ok.
  • Entering Auto, Wellington Dr., complainant reporting that his vehicle was entered and a Taurus Millennium .45 Silver over black with a black laser was taken.  Unknown S/N at this time.  Possibly pistol recovered.
  • Burglary, S. Madison Ave., complainant advised that sometime between 0930 last date and 1000 this date the residence was entered.  Clothes and shoes were taken.  Valued at $1500.  Evidence collected and prints were lifted.
  • Suspicious vehicle, behind Quality Shopping Center.  Reference to a blue motorcycle hidden in the woods.  Small kid’s electric scooter.  Dumped out as trash.  All ok.
  • Shoplifting, CVS, Employee advised a white male juvenile concealed a cell phone.  Phone was recovered by employee but juvenile fled towards Alcovy St.  Prosecution denied.
  • Juvenile Complaint, Shamrock Dr., mother advised her 17 year old juvenile wanted to leave after being suspended from school.  Juvenile was advised that she could not leave and the consequences that would follow if she did leave.  Situation mediated.  All ok.
  • Suspicious vehicle/person, Wellington Ln.  Reference to Hispanic males riding slow in a moving van through the neighborhood.  Area checked with negative contact.
  • Dispute, Great Oaks Dr. (Salamandras), customer could not pay for food that had been eaten.  Owner agreed that if customer got help he would not seek charges.  Customer was provided assistance by FISH.  Customer was provided lodging at Haven Inn.  All ok.
  • Child Custody Dispute, Wellington Lane, father reported his daughter was refusing to come home from her mother’s house.  Court order in place, officer went to Alcovy St. and had the daughter return with father, report made for documentation.
  • Found Item, West Spring St., Bag containing shoes and clothing.  Found a jail release paper for male subject in bag.  Left bag next to trash can for male subject to pick up.
  • Suspicious person, Michael Circle, W/M wearing white shirt and khaki pants asked complainant how to get to the church on Walker Drive.  Subject seemed suspicious, area checked with negative contact.
  • Dispute, Magnolia Terrace, Verbal dispute between Mother and Son, mediated. Report taken
