UPDATE: Walton County Fire Rescue Battalion Chief Craig League said the home on James Huff wasn’t occupied at the time of the fire.
“The house sustained moderate damage,” League said, adding that the cause has not yet been determined.

Officials with Walton County Fire Rescue confirm that WCFR and Monroe Fire Department are on scene of a working house fire at 1070 James Huff Road.
“It is unknown at this time if the home is occupied or not,” said WCFR Battalion Chief Craig League. “Gratis Road is closed at James Huff due to fire hoses across the roadway.”
