Monroe PD Reports: Snake in residence, Man pulls gun in road rage incident

Monroe Police Department responded to the following calls between Nov. 20 – 24, 2015. This report is split into four parts due to the length. This is the first part for this period. Please note, a charge or arrest does not constitute a conviction. 

  • Dispute call on Baron Dr., caller advised Domino’s Pizza charged her $38.00 for pizza but never delivered. Caller called Domino’s and they claimed to have refunded her but it has not shown up on her credit card. Caller advised to dispute charge with credit card company.
  • Wanted person call on S. Broad Street near Church Street with reference to warrants on a male subject in the area. Area checked no contact with male subject.
  • Welfare check call on W. Spring St. (Family Dollar) in reference to store doors being locked and business opens at 9:00 am. Contact made w/ employee on location who advised she locked doors around 10:00 am so she could stock coolers. All ok.
  • Domestic problem call on Maple Ln. between 2 subjects, was also advised a gun was used for threats. All ok, Contact made w. one subject she advised other subject was in complex but left on foot. Witnesses advised there was no gun and no argument.
  • Wanted person in MPD lobby. Claudette Lewis in lobby and had warrants for FTA. Advised by clerk for City Court that judge will see Lewis @ 1330 hrs and advised of outcome for arrest.
  • Officer’s called to E. Tall Oaks Dr. in reference to domestic victim on location to retrieve property. Property retrieved, all ok.
  • Theft call on Milledge Ave. (Public Defender’s Office) complainant reported theft of a Stihl blower. Serial number not available at this time, will call back to provide so item can be entered on GCIC.
  • Domestic problem call on W Spring St. (Clearview) subject assaulted by female on Booth Dr. last night. Subject uncooperative and not wanting to press charges.
  • Burglary call on GW Carver Dr., complainant stated unknown subject burglarized her home last date.
  • Entering auto report taken at MPD lobby, reference to driver license and bank card taken from vehicle while letting unknown subject test drive vehicle.
  • EMS assist call on N. Broad St. in reference to female in vehicle breathing but not responsive. All ok, female taking nap in parking lot.
  • Road rage on Hwy 78 W/B. Unidentified B/M pulled gun on vehicle that wouldn’t let him pass. Incident occurred in county neat Walton EMC. 4 door older silver Honda Accord w/ unknown tag. Met w/ complainant at Chevron on Troy Smith Rd., all ok.
  • Suspicious person call on Marable St. @ Union St. B/M wearing black hoodie walking in roadway possibly intoxicated. Area checked no contact.
  • Dispute call on Mill St. between male and female subjects over eviction. Advised of civil process, all ok.
  • Civil call on E Tall Oaks Dr., caller on scene to retrieve property. Property retrieved, all ok.
  • Suspicious person call on 2050 W Spring St. Silver sedan occupied w/ B/M on row 9. Area checked no contact.
  • Animal call on W Creek Circle, Caller advised there was a snake inside her residence. Caller advised to call exterminator.
  • Dispute call on Towler St., Mother upset due to daughter having friend spend the night without mother knowing. All ok.
  • Wanted person call on S Broad St. John Becknell on location. Becknell arrested for warrants, taken by officer.
  • Damage to property call on Ridge Rd., complainant stated unknown subject stole object off her vehicle last date. Complainant requested extra patrol, no report.
  • Suspicious person call on S Broad St. (Hardee’s).  Female subject stated male subject was making rude facial gestures at her in drive-thru. Both parties cited for DOC.
  • Burglary call at Monroe Motor Inn. Complainant accused female subject of taking $40.00 from her on Tanglewood Ln. Two other subjects were in residence asleep when incident occurred. No report taken, parties separated.
  • Assist call at Clearview. Male subject was fighting with staff, trying to break out windows and climb into the ceiling. Arrived on scene and assisted staff with medicating subject. All ok.
  • Fight call at Felker Park. Two male subjects were physically disputing. One subject cited for DOC and served w/ license suspension. Parties separated.
  • Domestic problem call on Overlook Crest. All ok, parties separated. Couple disputing over getting property out of residence.
  • Domestic problem call on S Broad St. (Southside Mobile Home Park), Verbal dispute between Jimmy McIntyre and female subject. McIntyre arrested for Probation Violation.
  • Entering auto call on Reed Way. Caller’s vehicle had driver side window broken out with large brick that was still in passenger floorboard. No items appeared to be taken, report taken
  • Theft call on Gatewood Way. Caller advised cellphone stolen last date from Long Nails located on W Spring St. Report taken and phone placed on GCIC.
