Monroe Police Department responded to the following calls between Nov. 20 – 24, 2015. This report is split into four parts due to the length. This is the third part for this period. Please note, a charge or arrest does not constitute a conviction.
- Suspicious vehicle call on Alcovy St. headed towards Monroe, red Dodge truck w/ dealer tag involved in domestic problem in county. Area checked to St. Anna’s w/ no contact.
- Follow up on Magonolia Terrace in reference to domestic problem earlier this date on Turner St. complainant advised she was assaulted earlier this date by Anthony Hunter. Ashley Hunter arrested for Shoplifting warrant through Monroe. Warrants TBT by officer for Anthony Hunter for battery, cruelty to children, and theft by taking.
- Dispute call on Storehouse Crt., complainant disputing w/ other residents due to juveniles writing on her driveway w. rocks and chalk. Situation mediated, juveniles washed off chalk and scrubbed scratches
- Civil issue @ Peters and Fosters. Complainant had questions about eviction then asked to go to Clearview for evaluation. Complainant transported to Clearview, all ok.
- Theft call on E Spring St. (Spring Street Laundry) caller advised while she was washing clothes, a juvenile took her purse into the bathroom and went through it and stole $15.00 and then threw purse at her and ran off towards Glen Iris Dr.
- Vicious animal call on Reed Way. Loose Pitbull in area trying to attack kids. Contact made, dog re-secured by owner.
- Suspicious vehicle call on Hwy 78W towards city speeding. Bronze Ford Explorer, contact made, all ok.
- Firearms Discharged call on Davis Street; Complainant advised hearing two gunshots from behind house, no contact with anyone in area.
- Assist call at Clearview Medical Center; male subject patient refusing to take his medication, becoming violent trying to break glass. After attempts for voluntary compliance, subject forcibly sedated. All ok.
- Juvenile Complaint on Plaza Trace; Several juveniles in area throwing sticks, they were GOA, area checked no contact.
- 911 Hang-up on Hwy 78; Employee on location advised a male was throwing items and cursing complainant, complainant advised to call if subject shows back up, no contact.
- Suspicious Person call on Forrest St; Comp advised two men asked her about husband and were acting very suspicious. Negative contact, told to call if they returned.
- Theft Report call on Baron Drive; Comp advised a white female named took a large amount of cash from the complainants mother in Hampton, out of jurisdiction advised to follow up with Hampton.
- 911 Hang-up call on Midland Ave; male subject and the complainant in a verbal argument, Williams given a ride to Camptown.
- Firearms Discharged call on Birch Street; comp advised hearing 10 gunshots near Housing authority. no contact with anyone shooting.
- Theft Report on Colley Street; complainant advised her boyfriend took her cigarettes, verbal dispute, civil matter. All ok.
- Fight call at Fuzions; 21 year old W/M subject was intoxicated and fighting with his family to leave, subject and his family made arrangements for him to leave.
- Second fight call at Fuzions; Subjects fighting, Intoxicate male subject in a fight with unknown patrons, sent home with his friends. Fuzions staff adding to problem, explained to contact the police and not to engage patrons in the parking lot.
- Juvenile Complaint on Michael Circle; juveniles in the area around complainant’s vehicle, negative contact with subjects.
- Domestic problem call on Bell Street; residents in verbal dispute, all subjects intoxicated and sent to bed, all ok.
- Domestic problem call on Store House Ct; caller and her ex-boyfriend having yet another verbal dispute. Situation mediated.
- EMS Assist @ Southside; intoxicated female subject transported to Clearview possible drug use involved.
- Shoplifting @ Walmart W. Spring St; Subject arrested for $58.19 in items stolen.
- Suspicious Person call on Masters Drive; 21-year-old autistic male looking to call his mother to pick him up, subject was GOA on a bicycle, negative contact.
- Domestic problem call on Cook Street; Comp advised male subject was going to come to her house to threaten her life, she was advised to call if he shows up.
- Road Rage @ Hwy 78 Westbound near Unisia; Comp reported that a black male in a Honda Accord pulled a gun on him that was GOA out in the county. Another motorist and a conflicting statement to the complainant, report made.
- Domestic problem call on Ridge Rd; Comp advised that estranged husband threatened to break the complainant’s property. Husband obtained his property, situation mediated.
- Suspicious Vehicle call on Alcovy Street Legion; a small vehicle with a loud muffler pulled into the legion, Area checked no contact, all ok.
- Domestic problem call on W. Tall Oaks; Intoxicated Gabrielle Holmes was arrested after destroying bathroom door to get to her girlfriend hiding in bathroom. Holmes resisted arrest and tried to sick her pit bull on officers and was tased. Holmes charged with agg assault, obstruction, battery, and criminal trespass family violence.
- Welfare Check/suspicious Person call on S. Broad Street; Comp advised hearing a female yelling help but when she checked outside a white male took off towards Walker Drive, negative contact after area checked.
- Domestic problem call on Tanglewood Drive; complainant was assaulted male subject, subject was GOA. Warrants to be taken on subject for Battery, Trespass, and Interfere with 911 call.
- Assault call on Colley Street; not assault, EMS call for medical patient. All ok.
- Harassing Phone Calls on Cherokee Ave; 14-year-old male on Facebook sending threats, advised to contact Facebook harassment.
- Fraud call on S. Madison Ave; complainant reported two transactions in amount of 396.48 on his debit card, report made.
- Animal complaint child bit by dog on 6th street, child transported to Clearview by e.m.s., animal control took canine.
- Stopping suspicious vehicle on S..Madison Ave., no insurance, vehicle impounded, Citation issued.
- Found property call on Lawrence St., wallet belonging to male subject found. Attempted to return, neg. contact.
- Burglary call on S. Broad, residence entered between 11-22 and 11-23. 60.00 change taken. Subject was named as possibly involved.

- Civil problem call. complainant filed civil report on male subject
- Juvenile complaint taken at MPD lobby. Facebook harassment of Granddaughter.
- Lost item call, caller sated lost temporary tag when washed vehicle.
- Agency assist Clearview, Loganville P.D. lost subject that jumped out of ambulance.
