Monroe Police Department responded to the following calls between Nov. 20 – 24, 2015. This report is split into four parts due to the length. This is the final part for this period. Please note, a charge or arrest does not constitute a conviction.
- Domestic problem call on Radford St., subject reported being threatened by male subject.
- Fraud Report at Wells Fargo, b/m attempting to cash fake check.
- Suspicious person call on Turner St., male subject alleged to be starting fights. Negative contact.
- Theft call on Wellington Ln., Complainant advised that his live in girlfriend took his keys when she moved out after 6 weeks, advised of civil process.
- Dispute call on Plaza Dr., Complainant reported that an unknown person with an unknown description threw an object at her and was GOA. Called back and advised to disregard.
- Damage to Property call on Overlook Crest, Complainant reported her house was struck with an arrow, this was second time since Oct 5. Made contact with William Frady and Tyler Desenberg who were consuming alcohol and shooting at a target behind complainant residence. Fray arrested for DOC, public intox, poss. Marijuana less 1 oz, and criminal trespass for damage on Oct 5. Desenberg arrested for DOC, public intox, and criminal trespass.
- Dispute call on Michael Circle, Male subject on location intoxicated refusing to leave, situation mediated, subject sent on his way.
- Child Custody Dispute on Lopez Ln., father refusing to take his child back to mother who has full custody unless she meets him in Conyers. Advised father to return child, all ok.
- Wanted person call on Storehouse Ct., Report that male subject on location with 4 Walton County warrants. Checked location, no contact.
- Domestic problem call on S. Broad St., Verbal dispute between male and female subjects over male subject being intoxicated, situation mediated.
- Domestic problem call on New Lacy St., Dispute between male and female subjects, male subject GOA, female stated male took her keys but returned them. Situation mediated.
- Welfare Check @ Walmart, Report of two juveniles left in a vehicle in row 10 unattended. Vehicle was GOA and traveled west on Hwy 78, advised the county.
- Juvenile Complaint @ Lopez Ln., Report of 4 juveniles on foot in the area walking in roadway. Made contact with juveniles all ok.
- Stopping suspicious vehicle on Hwy 78 and James Huff, Anthony Dean arrested for suspended license.
- Dispute @ E Church St at Baron Dr., complainant reported possibly locating his missing canine that was stolen 11 months ago, complainant unable to provide proof of ownership, and sent on his way.
- Entering Auto @ Engine Room, Complainant reported his Nissan Sentra was left unsecure and entered and a Dell lab top, black back pack containing a phone charger and medication was taken. No serial numbers, but computer belonged to Delta and would contact officers with serial numbers. Entering Auto report taken.
- Domestic problem call on Towler St., Verbal dispute between two subjects. Situation mediated, one subject given a ride to Nowell St.
- Suspicious vehicle call on Hwy 78 W at Jim Daws Rd., Dark Chevy truck unable to maintain lane. Vehicle stopped, driver checked ok, was having mechanical difficulties.
- Theft call on Cook Pl., complainant reported he allowed someone borrow his iPhone while at his cousins house. Was going to try and use locator on phone. Report declined.
- Dispute call on N. Midland Ave., Report of subject inside residence yelling and screaming possibly fighting. Made contact with residence who was having a party. All was ok, advised to keep music down.
- Juvenile Complaint on E. Church St., Mother reported she caught her 16 year-old- daughter with male subject in her bedroom. Male subject was goa, Situation mediated report declined.
- Suspicious vehicle call on Hwy 78 at Hwy 11, Report of tractor trailer traveling east in west lanes, area checked no contact.
- Stopping suspicious vehicle speeding, no insurance, vehicle towed.
- Shots fired called on Pierce St. and Southview, area checked no contact.
- Entering vehicle call on Davis St., Makita saw and Dewalt nail bag taken, Vehicle was unsecured.
- Entering vehicle call on Pine Park, contact made with owner. Declined report.
- 911 hang up call on Bridgeport Place, Nolan McCauley arrested for striking female subject.
- Suspicious vehicle call on 78 east bound, white ford truck taking photos of vehicles. Area checked neg. contact.
- Dispute, harassing phone calls on Turner St., mother and daughter arguing about mother making phone calls to daughter’s place of employment. Situation mediated.
- Theft report taken at MPD lobby, complainant reported a stolen weed eater over weekend. Named possible suspect.
- Fight call on Sorrel’s St., three shots fired. Met with subjects on Sorrel’s St. Negative contact with fight, neighbors not familiar with fight or shots fired. Male subject alleged to be involved. neg. contact.
- Suspicious vehicle call on 78 and Michael rd., texting failing to maintain lane. Area checked, neg. contact.
- Suspicious vehicle call on Millstone Bluff. Advised management they could have towed.
- Road rage complaint at MPD lobby. Incident occurred in county. referred to WCSO
- Suspicious person call on Bryant rd., negative contact.
- Theft of bicycle purple on color on Meadowbrook dr. Report taken.
- Shoplifting at Walmart. Subject already left area.
- Suspicious truck heading south on highway 11, dumping trash. neg contact. Occurred 10 to 15 min before call dispatched.
- Two suspicious men, taking pictures of residences on Alcovy St., followed by complainant to Pine Park and Lacy St., neg. contact. Met with a male subject at church corner of Harris and Ashe St.
- Juvenile complaint on Wheelhouse Lane, juvenile left without permission. Found on Norris St., returned home by officer.
- Juvenile complaint. Romanian mother and child asking for money to get to Chicago.
- Vehicle on Hwy. 78 @ Hwy. 11 vehicle ran out of gas. Female occupant was experiencing stomach pains and was 36 weeks pregnant. EMS transported her to Clearview. Put fuel in vehicle and it was cleared from the roadway. All ok.
- 911 hang up call on Tanglewood dr. three children 6 years old and under were left home alone and dialed 911. Franchesca Felix, mother, arrived on scene and was arrested.
- Domestic problem call on Ash Ln. between two subjects over discipline of a 5 yr old child. Situation mediated.
- Suspicious vehicle call on Highway 78e, corvette speeding and driving reckless. Area checked, no contact.
- Stopping suspicious vehicle on North Hammond near East Spring St. Subject ran on foot. While officer was chasing on foot after the subject, Latoya Brown moved the suspect vehicle from where it originally was. Brown was arrested for obstruction.
- Noise Complaint on Country Club Dr., complainant advised neighbors across the street were blaring loud music from their vehicle. Upon arrival all was ok. Advised complainant of the noise ordinance.
- Agency Assist county conducting safety check at Gratis Rd. Subject ran and began tossing items out the window coming down east MARABLE at n broad. Officer’s checked area on foot at East Marable and N broad down to N Madison for those items, negative on locating those items.
- Suspicious persona call on East Church St., at Smith Plaza. Officer attempted to get out with two suspicious subjects, officer chased on foot, one suspect was caught and tased by a responding officer, one was later brought to the PD by his mother. One juvenile and another male, were both arrested, complaint completed on juvenile and man was later released on copy. Both charged with loitering, DOC. The juvenile was also charged with curfew violation and runaway juvenile.
