Monroe PD Reports: 4-year-old taken to Athens Regional after being bitten by dog

Monroe PD responded to the following calls between  Nov. 3 – 10, 2016. This report is split into five parts due to the length. This is the third post for this period. Please note an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.

  • Request to report in person, South Broad St., Walgreens. Key holder arrived on location, requesting walk though, all ok.
  • Suspicious vehicle, Black passenger car Traveling EB in the WB lane of Highway 78 and Jim Daws. Area checked with negative contact
  • Harassing communications, Ridge Rd., two subjects being harassed by named male subject by phone. Report requested. Situation documented. No threats made.
  • Dispute, Cook St., complainant advised named male subject broke the rear windshield of her daughter’s Honda Accord using a tree branch. Male subject was gone when officers arrived.. Male subject returned again and caused more damage using the same tree branch. Extensive search of the area with negative contact with male subject. Warrants to be taken against male subject for Criminal Damage to prior 2nd degree time (2). Male subject also has a valid warrants out of Walton County for Probation violation, failure to appear original charge of battery.
  • Theft report, Plaza Dr., the complainant advised named male subject took $40.00 from her. Complainant declined a report or any prosecution against male subject Just wanted officer to talk to him. Negative contact with male subject.
  • Harmful Attempt, Wilkins St., 17-year-old female took unknown amount of pills and threw them up. EMS transported patient to Clearview Medical Center for further evaluation.
  • Officers returned to Cook St., male subject back on location, caused more damage to victim’s vehicle. See above.
  • Entering Auto, W. Spring St. “Home Depot”, complainant advised his vehicle was entered last date at this location sometime between 1745 and 1810 hours and his wife’s purse was taken from the vehicle. Report taken.
  • Harassing phone calls and Face Book messages, Davis St., the complainant advised she was being harassed by an unknown person who hacked her face book account and was sending messages to her boyfriend trying to start something. She received messages and lewd pictures. Complainant stated the only person who knew her password was her ex-boyfriend who is currently incarcerated. Report taken for documentation purposes.
  • Dispute, Knight St., the complainant advised named subject was at her residence and threw rocks at her then left in a White Nissan. Negative contact with subject who has no license and warrants out of WCSO.
  • Dog Bite, Hickory Dr, 4 year old was with her uncle in the neighbors backyard when 4-year old went out pet the neighbor’s dog and was bitten on the left shoulder. Animal control and EMS arrived on scene. EMS transported the child to Athens Regional due to the severity of the bite. Deep laceration.
  • Welfare Check, Green St., complainant advised she being harassed by named male subject via phone calls. Male subject called while on location but refused to turn himself in. No threats were sustained. Complainant advised to file for a protection order using above case number from prior calls.
  • Dispute, Page and Davis St., complainant was upset because she was arguing with a subject named and then witnessed him hand another subject a plastic Zip lock bag of weed.
  • Assault, Colley St. and Davis St., complainant advised he confronted named male subject after being told that the male subject took his bicycle. Complainant followed male subject to Colley Street where he confronted him and male subject struck complainant with a 2X4 in the back of the head. Complainant had a minor injury to his head but refused to cooperate when asked if he would press charges. Complainant advised he just wanted his bike back. Complainant treated and released on scene by EMS. Area checked for male subject and the bike with negative contact.
  • Juvenile complaint, Claywill Circle, the complainant advised juveniles in the Cul-De-Sac were coming onto his property and blocking his driveway. Two juveniles on location playing basketball. Subjects advised to move for traffic. All ok.
  • Fight, Juveniles, Chestnut Lane, motorist passing by advised of juveniles fighting in the area. Negative contact.
  • Harassing Phone Calls, Southview Dr., complainant advised that named male subject told him he was going to shoot him and his mother for being disrespectful to his girlfriend.  Report made.
  • Juvenile Complaint, Chestnut Lane, mother wanted to report her 16-year-old son for being unruly.
  • Suspicious Person, Courthouse, male subject advised to head to wherever he lays his head and to not being loitering the streets or private property.
