Monroe PD Reports: Two subjects running naked on Davis Street,

Monroe Police Department responded to the following calls between Nov. 6 – 19, 2015. This report is split into six parts due to the length. This is the fifth part for this period. Please note, a charge or arrest does not constitute a conviction. 

  • Hit and run call on South Broad St CVS pharmacy, private property. Complainant advised something damaged her vehicle while she was working.
  • Accident on Spring, complaint that occurred @ 1800 hours. Insufficient information for report, one vehicle and driver not on scene. After running complainant information, FTA warrants found out of Winder PD for Rashard Blackwell. Meet with Winder PD and Windstream. Blackwell turned over.
  • Prowler call on New Lacy. Upon arrival, found a big cat going through the trash in the back yard. All 10-4.
  • Theft/Damage to property call on Meadow Court. Complainant stated roommate possibly stole $250 cash, and other items from residence when moving out.
  • Officer called to Chevron South Broad met with mother of 14-year-old in ref to daughter’s ex-boyfriend talking about killing someone. Made contact with ex-boyfriend he appeared very emotionally unstable but denied wanting to hurt himself or others, incident occurred at Walnut Grove high school but was documented due to daughter and ex-boyfriend both living inside city turned over to WCSO.
  • Hit and Run on John Deere Rd and Walton Rd. Carlos Whaley advised a vehicle hit his vehicle while he was sitting at a stop sign. Mr. Whaley had a Cp license and less than 1 Oz of marijuana. He was arrested.
  • Officer’s called to New Lacy @ Wall met with caller who stated female subject drove by while she was outside. TPO between the 2. Caller Declined report.
  • Animal call on Oakwood Lane. Two pit bulls from residence on White Oak Drive, entered back yard of Oakwood Lane and killed a German Shepherd mix. Animal control responded.
  • Domestic problem call on Tall Oaks Dr., complainant requesting report made to document her soon to be ex-husband left a 16-year-old in charge of a 4 and 1-year-old while he left without her knowledge.
  • Possible burglary in progress on S. Madison Ave., The complainant advised she could hear something outside her bedroom window. Area checked with negative contact with anyone or any evidence of anyone around the house.
  • Shoplifting call on S. Broad St. “Wal-Greens”, the assistant manager advised a black male subject came into the store and took approximately $93 worth of Olay face products. Subject left in a Silver passenger car. Manager declined a report.
  • Theft report call on Colley St., caller advised her medication was taken. Caller advised her Xanax and Percocet were taken. Possibly 30 pills of each. Unknown when or by whom. Report taken.
  • 911 hang up call on E. Washington St., Raddford Homes, 82-year-old female, vomiting and weak unable to get to the door to open for help. Officer climbed through window and allowed access to EMS. Transported to Clearview for further evaluation.
  • Suspicious Vehicle call on Baron Dr., complainant advised a black male riding a dirt bike in the area with a juvenile on the back with no helmets driving recklessly.  Upon arrival officer made contact another subject on a 4-wheeler who advised him that the other subject headed to Walton Mills. See below call for contact made with second subject in Walton Mills. This was the second complaint in the last two days regarding this subject on the dirt bike.
  • Walton Mills Follow up on above call at Old Mill Point, contact made with Black male subject sitting on his dirt bike, subject refused to provide his identification and name. Subject arrested for D.O.C. identified and turned over to Walton County Jail. Citation issued and subject released after being booked.
  • 911 hang up call on W. Spring St. “Rose’s,” Elderly female has history of passing out. Refused medical treatment. All ok.
  • Suspicious Vehicle call on Hwy 138 & W. Spring St., elderly female in a green truck, no further information, failure to maintain lane. Area checked with no contact with subject or vehicle.
  • EMS assist call on E. Marable St. “Hot Spot” reference to a 16-year-old female that passed out, female refused medical treatment.
  • Follow up on vehicle recovered, Complainant Douglas St. advised she was tipped off her vehicle was on Thompson Drive in the County. Vehicle was located. No damage. All stickers were removed and vehicle was clean. Complainant took possession of the vehicle.  Vehicle removed from GCIC.  Supplemental report to be completed.
  • Unknown problem call on Atha St. located open door at the back of the residence and found Brittany Irvin inside a back bedroom with less than an ounce of marijuana in plain view. Irvin arrested for possession and TOT WC Jail.
  • Officer’s called to Clearview reference to patient being released and has questions about TPO, subject released had questions regarding a TPO.
  • Officer’s called to Atha Street, Officer to meet with complainant in reference to possibly TPO violation of male subject. Complainant was the caller from previous call at this address but was not on location when officers arrived. Report taken.
  • Animal Complaint on Maple Way, complainant advised 3-large K-9’s in the area chasing people and vehicles. On Maple Lane. Animal control responded.  Owner cited by Animal control for dog at large.
  • Dispute call on Davis St., complainant advised his children’s mother’s boyfriend grabbed him and pushed him down. Second party GOA was identified has warrants out of Newton County Probation violation, original charges 38-D, battery.  Report taken. No visible marks on complainant, advised or warrant process and TPO process.
  • Domestic problem call on Victory Dr. between 2 subjects, verbal only. One subject had complaints of chest pain EMS responded to EMS.
  • Domestic problem call on Davis St.  Verbal between 2 subjects, parties separated prior to arrival.
  • Domestic problem call on New Lacy St., female and Rodney Evans were involved in a physical altercation. Evans struck female in the face and struck 5-year-old in the neck. Evans left the scene in a white Honda Accord. He was arrested for family violence battery x2, cruelty to children 3rd degree x4, hit and run, and driving without a license.
  • Loud Party call on Baron Dr homeowner warned about loud music. Will be shut down next call.
  • Entering auto call on S Madison Ave 2 Droid cell phones and $20 cash taken from unlocked vehicle.
  • Loud Party call on Baron Drive party was shut down there was a strong odor of marijuana in the area but too many people around to locate source of odor possible fight on location negative contact with parties of fight.
  • Domestic problem call on 6th St., Physical altercation between Jeremy Cole and female subject, Jeremy Cole arrested for Battery (FV).
  • Discharging firearms call on Tanglewood Dr, report of single gunshot in area, area checked negative contact.
  • Loud party/firearms call on Tanglewood Dr., subjects involved and the loud party/fight on Baron Drive possibly relocated to the party on Tanglewood Drive. Those subjects possibly with firearms. Party shut down.
  • Suspicious person call on Davis St., Report of two subjects running down the street naked. Made contact with David Day on Davis St who was seen by officers getting dressed in the front yard. Mr. Day was intoxicated, underage and provided a false name and DOB. He was arrested.
  • Hit and run call at Sparrow Inn, gray Honda Accord struck by black Tahoe, Tahoe GOA toward Davis St, report taken.
  • Assault call at Clearview hospital. Patient advised he was assaulted by two unknown males at the Valero near Tanglewood at approximately 2100 hours. He declined a report.
  • Welfare check on New Lacy St, report 9 and 5-year-old on location with no adult, all ok made contact with 17-year-old babysitter.
  • Fight call on Alcovy St at Breedlove Dr., report of 15 people in active fight, made contact with caller, who stated several juveniles from Lacy St came to her house to fight, subjects GOA.
  • Stopping suspicious vehicle on S.Broad St at Wells Fargo Jilluan Roberts arrested for DUI (.149) Suspended License, no Insurance, Improper Stopping on Roadway, and Failure to Maintain Lane and Floyd County warrants case.
  • Follow up on Harris St.,  in reference to earlier entering auto on S Madison owner of the phone traced it to the area of  Harris St. Made contact with mother on Harris gained consent to enter and search for phone.  Juvenile admitted to having one of the phones the cash was also located. Arrest forwarded to juvenile.
  • Domestic problem call on Walker Dr. Caller advised that his wife cut him with some a piece of glass, calls back and said he was on his way to Clearview via POV, advised his wife stopped at the old hospital on Breedlove and refused to take him to Clearview if he didn’t get off the phone with 911.  They arrived at Clearview, both extremely intoxicated, very uncooperative, the male Mr Charles Hendrix had a sever laceration on his left arm, very disruptive with ER staff.  He was arrested for agg. Assault and battery, Tia Collins arrested for DUI.
  • Anonymous Caller, Possible wanted Subject on Davis St. caller advised, Black male wearing Black hoodie and black sweat pants walking on Davis St. has warrants out of Athens Clark County. Area checked no contact.
  • Follow up on Davis St. warrant Attempt, male subject, reference to warrants out of Newton County Probation violation, subject not on location and does not live at this address.
  • Domestic problem report only on W. Spring St. “Clearview Medical Center”, complainant advised male subject held a gun to her head last date on Norris St. Subject to be evaluated for medical tendencies. Complainant mother was on location and explained long history in family.  Report taken.
  • Suspicious Person call on Country Club Dr. The complainant advised a subject dressed in Camo was walking around near the fence in her back yard. Complainant advised it was possibly juvenile squirrel hunting. Checked the area with negative contact.  No further.
  • Dispute call on Mill Stone Bluff, civil issue over property between 2 subjects over property due to splitting up.  1 subject gathered some essential belongs and left.  Advised of the civil process.
  • Possible TPO Violation call on Bridgeport Place, complainant advised she had her brother-in-law’s phone and there was a missed call on it from her ex-boyfriend who has a TPO between the 2. Complainant stated brother-in-law did not know she had the phone. No violation. Complainant advised if he called back, left a message or Text attempting to contact “her” then it would be a violation and to call dispatch.
  • Damage to Property call on Pine Park, caller advised his front door was attempted to be pried open. No entry made into home. Dead bolt was hammered back into place by complainant. Report taken.
  • Suspicious vehicle call on South Broad St., ref to a black truck on side of the business, GOA ALL ok.
  • Suspicious person call at Chevron on South Broad St., reference male and female smelling like 38d. Made contact negative on any odor.
  • Child custody dispute call on Knight St., complainant advised her child’s father has had their child for 3 weeks. He was supposed to return the child this date but has not done so. No court orders in place. She was advised of available remedies.
  • Domestic problem call on Plaza Dr., reference retrieving property between 2 subjects, all OK.
  • Follow up on West Tall Oaks Reference to earlier speeding vehicle on Baron Dr. Bike located at this residence he stated that the bike was abandoned. Bike impounded by wrecker service. Resident cited for DOC and released on copy.
  • Suspicious person call on Sycamore Ct., caller advised she heard noises in her back yard. Her dad was on scene and advised there were no one in the backyard. All ok.
  • Shoplifting call at Walmart, 14 yr old stole $43.68 worth of merchandise, report taken forwarded to juvenile.
  • Intoxicated person call on Mobley Cir., Female intoxicated and being loud prior to our arrival. Available remedies were explained to the owner of the house in which she resides.
  • Burglary call on Pine Park St., Back door kicked in Occurred between 1845-2354 hrs 3TVs, 3 pairs of shoes and a 22 caliber handgun stolen, report taken.
  • Civil matter, Walton truck stop. Dispute between truck driver and mechanic. Situation resolved.
  • Suspicious person call at Madison Manor, ref three males loitering in the parking lot, area checked no contact.
  • Drug sell call on Oakwood Ln. Anonymous caller advised finding drug related objects and drugs in cul-de-sac, requested area to be checked. No contact.
  • Juvenile complaint on Lakeview Dr. near Walton Rd. Advised of 2 juveniles in area wearing all black clothing. Made contact w/ male and female subjects who are adults and were walking to friends home, all OK.
  • Damage to property call on E Washington St., caller advised unknown subject broke windows and slashed all tires on caller’s 2002 Chevy Impala overnight, report taken.
  • Domestic problem call on Ridge Rd., 2 subjects over relationship, verbal only, parties separated.
  • Shoplifting call on S Broad St. (Dollar General), Amanda Buice for warrants out of Rabun County and banned from Dollar General.
  • Civil Issue taken at MPD lobby, female requested escort to Tanglewood Ln. to retrieve property. Homeowner not on location, advised to call back.
  • Domestic problem on Turner St., 2 female subjects arguing over misplaced wallet. All ok, mediated.
  • Burglary call on Mill Stone Bluff. Caller advised unknown subject forced open rear window on 11-12-2015 and removed a white 10k ring and $5.00 cash.
  • Theft call on W Spring St. (Walmart), caller advised her purse was stolen out of shopping cart on 11-14-2015. Report taken.
  • Suspicious vehicle call  on Sorrells St., caller advised gold 4 door sedan occupied by B/M and 2 B/F sitting in front of her residence but would not advise of address. No contact.
  • Suspicious vehicle call on Hwy 138 towards Monroe from Nunally Farm Rd. White Nissan Maxima speeding and reckless. Area checked no contact.
  • Harassing text messages taken at Monroe Police lobby. Complainant stated unknown person sent her threatening text yesterday.
  • Dispute call on W Spring St. (Verizon wireless). W/M on location wearing red pants refusing to leave. Contact made w/ subject. Advised to leave premises and not return.
  • Harassment report taken at Monroe Police Dept. lobby, Complainant stated soon to be ex-husband slandering her on social media and posting semi-nude pictures, report taken. She was arrested for FTA warrant out of Norcross.
